Hostaform® C 9021 M XAP2™

Hostaform® C 9021 M XAP2™ by Celanese is a very hard and rigid, heavy-metal free POM (polyoxymethylene) copolymer grade modified with molybdenum disulphide. Exhibits outstanding chemical (solvents, fuels & strong alkalis)-, hydrolysis-, fatigue-, creep-, moisture- and stress cracking resistance. Also exhibits toughness (up to -40°C), good heat distortion temperature (up to 100°C), very good slip/ wear properties, excellent resilience, low moisture absorption and higher stability to thermal and oxidative degradation compared to acetal homopolymers.
  • Also shows easy colorization.
  • Hostaform® C 9021 M XAP2™ can be processed by injection molding.
  • Suitable for sliding combinations with high surface pressure and low sliding speed exhibiting only slight tendency to stick-slip.
