Hostaform® C 9021 SW

Hostaform® C 9021 SW by Celanese is a very hard and rigid, heavy-metal free POM (polyoxymethylene) copolymer grade. It contains anti-friction additives for prevention of squeaking noise, lubricants and release agent. Exhibits outstanding chemical like solvents, fuels & strong alkalis-, hydrolysis-, fatigue-, creep-, moisture- and stress cracking resistance. Provides toughness up to -40°C, good heat distortion temperature up to 100°C, very good slip & wear properties, excellent resilience, low moisture absorption and higher stability to thermal and oxidative degradation compared to acetal homopolymers. Hostaform® C 9021 SW also shows easy colorization. It can be processed by injection molding and extrusion. Suitable for sliding combinations with low wear and low coefficient of friction.
