Hostaform® C 9021 TF5 NATURAL

Hostaform® C 9021 TF5 NATURAL by Celanese is a very hard and rigid, heavy-metal free, standard flow POM (polyoxymethylene) grade modified with polytetraflouroethylene (PTFE). It is suitable for processing by injection molding.
  • Exhibits outstanding chemical (solvents, fuels & strong alkalis)-, hydrolysis-, fatigue-, creep-, moisture- and stress cracking resistance.
  • It offers easy colorization, toughness (up to -40°C), good heat distortion temperature (up to 100°C), very good slip/wear properties, excellent resilience, low moisture absorption and higher stability to thermal and oxidative degradation compared to acetal homopolymers.
  • Hostaform® C 9021 TF5 NATURAL is used in wear applications against plastics, metal, glass or ceramic mating surfaces where silicone lubricants cannot be tolerated.
