Hostaform® LM90 CD8000A BLACK by Celanese is a very hard and rigid, heavy-metal free, nominal 9 melt flow rate POM (polyoxymethylene) copolymer grade. Exhibits outstanding chemical (solvents, fuels & strong alkalis)-, hydrolysis-, fatigue-, creep-, moisture- and stress cracking resistance. Also exhibits toughness (up to -40°C), good heat distortion temperature (up to 100°C), very good slip/ wear properties, excellent resilience, low moisture absorption and higher stability to thermal and oxidative degradation compared to acetal homopolymers.

Also shows easy colorization.
Capable of being permanently marked by a laser.
Hostaform® LM90 CD8000A BLACK can be processed by injection molding.
Molded parts can be laser marked with barcodes, identification numbers, designs, 2-D symbology, etc.
