Hostaform® M90™ XAP® CD3068 BLACK is a very hard and rigid, heavy-metal free, low emission version, medium viscosity POM (polyoxymethylene) copolymer grade. Exhibits outstanding chemical (solvents, aggressive fuel blends & strong alkalis)-, hydrolysis-, fatigue-, creep-, moisture- and stress cracking resistance. Also exhibits toughness (up to -40°C), good heat distortion temperature (up to 100°C), very good slip/ wear properties, excellent resilience, low moisture absorption and higher stability to thermal and oxidative degradation compared to acetal homopolymers. Also shows easy colorization. It can be processed by injection molding. Provides optimum performance in general purpose injection molding and excellent performance in many applications. Primarily suitable for the interior automotive market.
