Teflon™ PTFE 602 X is a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fluoropolymer grade by Chemours. Provides moderate stiffness, good toughness, dielectric and non-stick properties. Possesses thermal stability and low density. Exhibits chemical inertness, good flexibility, low friction & moisture absorption and high elongation. Offers high temperature-, corrosion and weather resistance. It is stable with frequency & temperature and can be processed by paste extrusion using liquid processing aid like naphtha. Used in unsintered articles like filter membranes & gaskets, pipe liners, beading, tubing and wire coatings. Teflon™ PTFE 602 X meets the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2010/15 PFOA regulations.
