Teflon™ PTFE 62N X

Teflon™ PTFE 62N X is a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fluoropolymer grade by Chemours. Exhibits chemical inertness, high flexibility, low friction, moisture absorption and high elongation. Possesses moderate stiffness, good toughness, dielectric, non aging & non-stick properties, thermal stability and low density. Offers low permeability, high temperature-, corrosion-, stress cracking- and weather resistance. Teflon™ PTFE 62N X is stable with frequency & temperature and can be processed by paste extrusion using liquid processing aid like naphtha. Used in tubing, spaghetti tubing, wire coating, hoses, automotive hydraulic fluid, fuel & gas, brake systems and after-processing technologies such as flanging, welding, blow molding and convoluting. Meets the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2010/15 PFOA regulations.
