Teflon™ PTFE 7C X by Chemours is a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fluoropolymer grade. Possesses moderate stiffness, anti-stick surface, good dielectric properties and high bulk density. Exhibits chemical inertness, low friction and high elongation. Provides ignition-, high temperature and corrosion resistance. Teflon™ PTFE 7C X is stable with frequency & temperature and can be processed by preforming and sintering. Used in skived film & sheet, gaskets, bridge or pipeline bearing pads, shaft bearings, piston rings and diaphragms. Recommended for moldings requiring optimum mechanical and electrical properties. Meets the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2010/15 PFOA regulations.
