Teflon™ PTFE 8A X by Chemours is a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fluoropolymer grade with good dielectric properties. Possesses moderate stiffness, anti-stick surface, surface finish and high bulk density. Exhibits chemical inertness, low friction and good flowability. Provides high elongation, ignition-, high temperature & corrosion resistance and low smoke. Teflon™ PTFE 8A X is stable with frequency & temperature and can be processed by preforming and sintering. Used in ball valve seats, seals, discs, lab ware, lining pipes, valves & plugs—and for ducting, expansion bellows, piston rings and other large complex moldings. Meets the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2010/15 PFOA regulations.
