Desmopan® 7000 series

Desmopan® 7000 series by Covestro are durable thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) grades specially designed for high-speed signal transmission of 5G devices and accessories. These possess low dielectric constant (Dk) and low dielectric loss (Df) leading to higher signal penetration. Exhibit high transparency for 5G frequencies and abrasion-, UV-, stain-, chemical & fabric dyes resistance. Offer soft touch with excellent haptics, good flexibility, excellent mechanical strength and elasticity. Provide inherent shock- and vibration-absorbing properties. They maintain good functionality across a wide temperature range. Show good adhesion to several engineering plastics such as polycarbonate and ABS. Desmopan® 7000 series can also be used in protective casing for smartphones.
