Makrolon® 2408

Covestro

Makrolon 2408 by Covestro is a low viscosity polycarbonate (PC) grade. It is suitable for EtO and steam sterilization at 121°C. Exhibits easy release, high heat resistance, good toughness, good dimensional stability, high creep modulus and good electrical insulation properties. It offers good transparency, high impact strength and chemical and hydrolysis resistance. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. It is recommended for medical applications. Makrolon 2408 is biocompatible according to ISO 10993-1 test requirements.
