Makrolon® 2858 RE by Covestro is a biocompatible polycarbonate (PC) compound. It offers medium viscosity and easy release. It is suitable for ETO and steam sterilization at 121°C. It is processed by injection molding. Recommended for medical devices. Complies with UL 94 HB and V-2 flame rating. Makrolon® 2858 RE is partially bio-circular according to ISCC PLUS standard.
