Makrolon® 3638 by Covestro is a branched, multifunctional, ultra-durable polycarbonate (PC) grade. It can also contribute to a lower carbon footprint with the possibility of attributed bio-circular content.

Exhibits a unique combination of properties that are maintained over a wide temperature range.
Offers good chemical resistance, high impact strength and ductility even at very low temperatures.
Provides good durability and cryogenic to steam sterilizability.
Suitable for processing by injection- and blow molding.
Designed for applications that are tough and transparent.
Makrolon® 3638 is used in medical devices.
It is suitable for food contact applications and biocompatible according to many ISO 10993-1 test requirements.
