Makrolon® DQ5162

Makrolon® DQ5162 by Covestro is polycarbonate (PC) with good flowability. Exhibits upto 10% higher transmission and luminous efficacy. Offers excellent processability and short cycle time. It has a half value angle of about 56°. Suitable for processing by injection molding. Makrolon® DQ5162 is recommended for large diffuser of LED lamps and lights. Potential applications include ceiling and tri-proof or diffuser lights that must be waterproof, dustproof, impact resistant and corrosion-resistant at the same time. It has listing in UL Yellow Card. Makrolon® DQ5162 will be launched at LpS (LED professional Symposium +Expo), September 24-26, 2019.
