Heromelt™ ETFE by Daikin Compounding Italy is a conductive, partially fluorinated ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) grade filled with silicon carbide, glass fibres, carbon fibres and pigments. It is an anti-static and self-extinguishing grade and shows resistance to high temperatures, chemicals and atmospheric agents. It has non-stick properties and low coefficient of friction. Can be processed by melt extrusion, injection and transfer molding. Heromelt™ ETFE is used in coatings for electrical cables, pipes, gaskets, films & sheets. Also used for valves, precision and electronic components.
