FZ-6600-B2 by DIC Corporation is a natural (off-white), linear polyphenylene sulphide [PPS] grade reinforced with mineral and glass fiber. It is well balanced with excellent engineering properties and high flowability. It exhibits excellent chemical-, heat- & superior elevated temperature- resistance and excellent dimensional stability. It is inherently flame retardant, recyclable and shows advanced mechanical properties. Also exhibits high purity and is less prone to absorbing moisture under high heat & humidity conditions. It has tensile elongation, impact resistance, high melting point, superior strength and modulus. It shows advanced electrical properties under high heat, high humidity and high frequencies. It is suitable for processing by injection molding and is ideal for precision injection molding of intricate and complex parts. FZ-6600-B2 is used in automotive components such as: ignition/electrical system (fuel cases, IC regulators, coil bobbins etc.), lighting system (headlamps, bulb socket etc.), fuel system (fuel pump impellers, fuel/intake air flow meters etc.), drive system (ABS system hydraulic pistons etc.), control system (pressure sensors, speed sensors, position sensors etc.) & cooling system (thermostat housings, upper & lower radiator etc.) and electrical/electronic applications (fiber optic connectors, CD drive optical pickup bases etc.). It complies with UL94 V-0, UL746A and UL746B.
