APPEEL™ 11D554 Peelable Resin by Dow is a modified ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer resin. It acts as a sealing layer, offering easy open experience for lidding applications such as food containers, thermoformed trays and condiment containers. It provides a distinctively versatile peelable seal to polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), high impact polystyrene (HIPS), polystyrene (PS) and PS foams. APPEEL™ 11D554 Peelable Resin is suitable for processing by conventional extrusion, coextrusion, blown film extrusion, coating and lamination. It complies with FDA 21 CFR 175.105, EU Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE), EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and conforms to CONEG & EU Directive 94/62/EC.
