EcoPaXX® Q-KGS6

EcoPaXX® Q-KGS6 by Envalior is a flame-retardant, halogen-free, 30% glass-reinforced, long aliphatic polyamide (PA410) based on castor oil. It offers excellent retention of electrical properties upon humidity uptake. It shows exceptional performance in the most demanding of environments. Also, exhibits excellent chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, combined with a very high melting point (highest of all bio-plastics) and high crystallization rate (typical for engineering plastics like PA66 and PA46). It is processed by injection molding. It allows for reliable solutions due to their high resistance and impermeability to conventional gasoline fuel (E10) as well as to the more sustainable E85 fuel and to their good mechanical properties at various temperatures and very good dimensional stability (proven by short term aging at 100°C. EcoPaXX® Q-KGS6 is used in connectors, housings, fuel system: various components and fuel vapor separators.
