Stanyl® TC168 (NC239B)

Stanyl® TC168 (NC239B) by Envalior is a high-performance, thermally conductive, heat stabilized, flame retardant polyamide (PA 4-6) grade reinforced with 20% glass fiber. It offers chemical resistance, superior heat resistance, design stiffness, wear, friction and process flow qualities. It retains its mechanical properties at high temperatures up to 220°C. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. Stanyl® TC168 (NC239B) is recommended for heat sinks in LED lamps. It enables the production of unique lightweight design and delivers excellent cooling of the lamp while securing electrical safety. It allows for high level of design freedom compared to metal and yields 85% lower carbon dioxide footprint than with an equivalent die-cast aluminium heat sinks.
