Grilamid® L 25A NZ

Grilamid® L 25A NZ is an impact modified and heat stabilized, high viscosity polyamide 12 (PA 12) grade. Is formed by the polymerisation of laurolactam (lactam 12, obtained from the basic raw material butadiene), a ring-shaped, long-chain monomer with 12 carbon atoms. Exhibits lower water absorption than PA 6, excellent dimensional stability, high resistance to chemicals, hydrolysis, heat, UV and weathering. Possesses lowest density among all polyamides, low weight, good impact strength at low temperatures, easy processability and high surface finish. Is suitable for processing profile-, tube extrusion and injection molding. Used in automotive air intake-, compressed air systems, cooling and climate control, cables & tubes, sports & leisure and in hydraulics & pneumatics. Complies with REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
