Grilon® CA 6 E

Grilon® CA 6 E is a non-extracted polyamide 6-12 (PA 6-12) grade. Possesses barrier properties, high viscosity, low melting point, very high flexibility and toughness, high shrink, very good transparency, very good thermoforming and orientation properties. Is suitable for processing by cast film-, blown film- and other extrusion. Mostly used as a middle layer of a multi layer structure. Its potential applications include flexible packaging for foodstuffs such as shrinkable film for consumer packaging eg meat, cheese, sausage and fish. Also used in oriented film packaging. It applies with EU requirements- Food contact.
