Grilamid® L 20 H FR

Grilamid® L 20 H FR is a halogen-free, phosphorus-free, flame retardant polyamide 12 (PA 12) grade. Is formed by the polymerisation of laurolactam (lactam 12, obtained from the basic raw material butadiene), a ring-shaped, long-chain monomer with 12 carbon atoms. Exhibits low water absorption, excellent dimensional stability, heat stability, high resistance to chemicals, hydrolysis, UV, heat and weathering. Possesses medium viscosity, lowest density among all polyamides, low weight, high impact strength down to -40°C, high processability and high surface quality. Is suitable for processing by injection molding and extrusion. Used in automotive applications, electronics & electrical applications like connectors and in cables & tubes. Complies with REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
