TECACOMP® PP ID blue 1061097 by Ensinger is polypropylene (PP) grade reinforced with a detectable filler. It is X-ray & metal detectable and is suitable for processing by injection molding. Offers safety against residues, damaging loss of image, incalculable follow-on costs as well as toughness modification for lower susceptibility to breakage. Used in compound for detectable cable ties, knife handle in detectable plastic and transport box. TECACOMP® PP ID blue 1061097 fulfils food contact requirement in conformity with the FDA requirements, Directive 2000/72/EC and Regulation (EU) no. 10/2011.
