TECAFORM® AD HPV13

TECAFORM® AD HPV13 is a low cost homopolymer polyacetal grade filled with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) powder. PTFE helps in internal lubrication. It exhibits very good slide & wear properties, good mechanical properties, low water absorption, good chemical resistance, good machinability, good dimensional stability, low coefficient of friction, excellent PV (pressure & velocity) values, toughness, superior flexural fatigue properties and no-stick slip nature. Targeted industries include food engineering, power engineering, conveyor technology, gear manufacturing, business machines, packaging & paper machinery and military components with moving parts. Complies with FDA regulation 21CFR 177.2480 and may be used in contact with food up to 150°F on a repeated use basis, except those foods containing more than 15% alcohol.
