TECAST® L Black by Ensinger is a highly crystalline, molecular, stress free cast polyamide 6 (PA 6) grade reinforced with oil. Exhibits good sliding & wear properties, high toughness & strength, and resistance to weathering, hot water, bases, oils, greases & fuels. Shows good abrasion resistance, good damping properties, easy processability, good slip-stick behavior, good thermal resistance and good electrical insulation. It is manufactured using a casting method, whereby the raw material caprolactam polymerizes by means of a controlled chemical reaction. TECAST® L Black is suitable for processing by reaction injection molding. Applications include conveyor technology, mechanical engineering, packaging & paper machinery, automotive industry, clutch & engine manufacturing, and heavy duty industry.
