DAIAMID® L1965J by Evonik is a medium viscosity, versatile polyamide 12 (PA 12, Nylon 12) grade reinforced by mica. It exhibits good strength, low water absorption (1/7 of PA 6), low specific gravity (1.01-1.02), excellent friction & wear characteristics and good compatibility with other compounds. This grade offers chemical-, oil-, heat- & weather resistance and excellent impact resistance at low temperatures. DAIAMID® L1965J is processed by injection molding. It is used for precision molding parts. It is used in gears for printers.
