PLEXIMID® TT70

PLEXIMID® TT70 by Evonik highly heat distortion resistant poly(n-methyl methacrylimide) (PMMI). Exhibits excellent transmission & clarity, very high mechanical strength & rigidity and good weather resistance. Possesses high stability of the optical characteristics at long-lasting thermal load and highest heat deflection temperature under load. It is supplied as aluminum-laminated pellets of uniform size. PLEXIMID® TT70 is particularly suitable for processing by injection molding with standard 3-zone general purpose screws for thermoplastics. Used in applications that involve maximum thermal loads such as lenses, light guides, lighting fixtures and covers.
