VESTAKEEP® iC4800 3DF by Evonik is a high viscosity, low odor, osteoconductive polyether ether ketone (PEEK). It is an electrically insulating, self-extinguishing, high-impact strength, semi-crystalline, phosphorous & PTFE-free grade. It contains mineral and inorganic fillers as additive. Offers hydrolysis, hot water, UV, light and weathering resistance. It is non-corrosive and optimized for high biocompatibility, mechanical, chemical and thermal resistance. It can be processed in common extrusion-based 3D printing technologies such as fused filament fabrication (FFF). Suitable for fused deposition molding and additive manufacturing. VESTAKEEP® iC4800 3DF consists of calcium phosphate which allows bone cells to adhere to implants more quickly, enhancing the osseointegration for long-term implantable medical devices.
