VESTAMID® L-R9-MHI

VESTAMID® L-R9-MHI by Evonik is a medium-viscosity, food contact acceptable, antistatic, electrically conductive polyamide 12 (PA 12) grade with a processing aid. It is reinforced with 25% chopped glass fiber strands. Exhibits resistance to fatigue-, fuel-, good abrasion-, high cold impact-, grease-, high environment stress crack-, oil- and solvent. Shows good processability, low to no water absorption, sound- and vibration damping, UV-, light- and heat stability. Designed for processing by injection molding. Recommended for moldings or extrudates for use in areas prone to explosion such as coal mining- and other industries like ventilation fans for electric motors, chair castors, loud speaker boxes, telephone/radio equipment, profiles for assembly lines, electric shock protection, housings for explosion-protected measurement equipment- and switches. VESTAMID® L-R9-MHI complies with EU 10/2011 and UL 94 flame ratings.
