VESTAMID® L2170 orange E20005 by Evonik is an unfilled, high viscosity, partially crystalline, heat- & light stabilized, polyamide 12 resin. It contains processing aids and possesses low water absorption & tough & smooth surface finish. It exhibits a low coefficient of friction which eases the installation of cables in ducts, resistance to heat (thermal stability) & UV/light/weathering, general chemical resistance and termite & rodent resistance. It is processed by injection molding and profile extrusion. It is designed for the extrusion of cable sheathings and manufacture of semi-finished products like tubes, rods, sheets & profiles. VESTAMID® L2170 orange E20005 is recommended for IT & telecommunication, tube & hose, automotive and electrical & electronic applications. The shelf life of this product is 2 years.
