VESTAMID® NRG 1003

VESTAMID® NRG 1003 by Evonik is a granular, natural colored polyamide 12 (PA 12) resin. It is a low-viscosity, heat stabilized grade exhibiting an excellent compatibility against hydrocarbons (i.e. crude oil) and oilfield chemicals (i.e. paraffin inhibitors) resulting in high dimensional stability and unaffected properties of parts in contact with those. Possesses low water absorption and almost unchanged properties at varying ambient humidity. Shows excellent bonding to reinforcement fibres. VESTAMID® NRG 1003 is developed for the manufacturing of thermoplastic composite tapes.
