Formolene® HL5010

Formolene® HL5010 is an extra high molecular weight High Density Polyethylene-Hexene Copolymer grade. It has good melt strength, excellent stress crack resistance, good rigidity, and excellent impact strength even at low temperatures. Suitable for large part blow molding applications. Suggested applications include 55-gallon shipping containers, gasoline tanks, agricultural chemical tanks, pallets, cattle feeders, boats, etc. Formolene® HL5010 is a DMF grade and meets the requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as specified in 21 CFR 177.1520 for food packaging, covering safe use of polyolefin articles intended for direct food contact. Complies with NSF Standard 61 and UL certification.
