SI51C by Hanwha Total Petrochemical (Hanwha Group) is a high gloss, odorless, highly crystalline, economical polypropylene (PP) grade available in the form of pellets. Exhibits good rigidity, size stability, excellent mechanical property, superior flexural modulus and thermal durability at high temperature. Offers clear finish and improved heat-, scratch-, impact-, chemical and thermal strain resistance. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. SI51C is recommended for electric heating equipment parts, exterior housings of household appliances which require an elegant appearance such as rice cookers, toasters, irons, jars, pots, bread makers and food related products requiring sanitation. Certified by Japan's Welfare Ministry for use in food related electronic goods and complies with RTI/UL746B certification for products exported to Europe and the U.S.A.
