Polystyrene 913 by I. Stern and Company is a super high impact polystyrene (HIPS) resin. It is a hard and rigid grade. Exhibits impact strength more than five times that of general purpose polystyrene (GPPS) and high gloss. Exhibits excellent toughness & environmental stress cracking resistance and offers good processability. Suitable for processing by sheet molding. Polystyrene 913 by I. Stern and Company is used in thermoformed containers & lids for food packaging and custom extruded sheets. Complies with UL 94 flammability regulations.
