Polystyrene SH-731 by I. Stern and Company is a high impact polystyrene (HIPS) resin. This hard & rigid grade possesses impact strength more than five times that of general purpose polystyrene (GPPS). Exhibits medium flow, high toughness and excellent environmental stress cracking resistance. Suitable for processing by extrusion. Polystyrene SH-731 by I. Stern and Company is used in thermoformed containers & lids for food packaging, profiles and custom sheets. Complies with UL 94 flammability regulations and meets the specifications of norm21 CFR 177.1640 of the FDA.
