RAMAPET R1

RAMAPET R1 commercialized by Indorama polymers is a high strength PET (polyethylene terephthalate) resin copolymer made from terephthalic acid (PTA), isophthalic acid (IPA) and mono-ethylene glycol (MEG). Exhibits good optical and mechanical properties. Contains a moderate level reheat additive. The use of reheat additive provides significant energy saving of up to 30% when reheating preforms. Designed for thin-walled PET bottles where the creep & thermal stability are critical and blowing of more complicated shapes & latest, light-weighted preform/bottle designs. RAMAPET R1 complies with the requirements of the European Legislation (EU) No 10/2011 for plastics used in contact with food, EU Regulation 2023/2006 and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) CFR 177.1630 and 21 CFR 174.5.
