28H430 is an autoclavable, additive free, low-density polyethylene (LDPE) homopolymer grade. Is melt-flow rate tailored and exhibits high rigidity, good downgauging potential, low blocking, and good drawdown. Can be processed using coextrusion, blending, blown film and cast film extrusion. If corona treatment is necessary, the level should normally be in the range 38-48 mN/m. Suitable for nappy film & other hygienic films, and thin rigid films with good optical properties. It complies with the EU Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004, Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011, & Commission Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 for food contact applications. Also meets the relevant requirements of regulations including RoHS-2011/65/EU, WEEE-2002/96/EC, EoL-2000/53/EC, Regulation (EC) 1907/2006, and REACH-Regulation No. 1907/2006.
