Eltex® PF6160AP

Eltex® PF6160AP is an unstabilized metallocene linear low density polyethylene (mLLDPE) grade containing hexene-1 as the comonomer. Exhibits good level of porosity, high crosslinking efficiency, suitable melt index & density for easy dispersion, high output & productivity and high bulk density. Possesses good blending compatibility with LLDPE and LDPE pellets as absorber of crosslinking agent of low voltage silane crosslinked insulation. Can be used at a level of 100 % for low voltage silane crosslinked insulation by adding 0.7-0.9 % of vinyl trimethoxysilane, a suitable peroxide and a crosslinking catalyst. Used as carrier for color concentrates and masterbatches. Recommended for crosslinked wire & cable insulation, textile coating and hot & cold crosslinked polyethylene. It complies with the EU Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004, Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011, and Commission Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006. Meets the relevant requirements of regulations including RoHS-2011/65/EU, WEEE-2002/96/EC, EoL-2000/53/EC, Regulation (EC) 1907/2006, and REACH-Regulation No. 1907/2006.
