J50-200-178 is a narrow molecular weight high density polyethylene copolymer present as white to yellow colored pellets/ flakes. Insoluble in cold water, hot water and octanol. It can be processed using compression molding or injection molding. Suitable for the production of closures for beverages. Because of its high purity and excellent organoleptic properties, this grade is certified as low taste and is intended for packaging in direct contact with beverages. Typical applications for J50-200-178 include caps and closures for carbonated beverages and water.
