HIPS 7240

HIPS 7240 is a white colored, very high impact polystyrene (HIPS) grade to be diluted with crystal polystyrene(such as GPPS 1240,1340 or 1540). Possesses good melt strength, electric insulation properties, colorability and reasonable chemical resistance. Exhibits good moldability, low moisture absorption and good dimensional stability. Can be processed by co-extrusion. Used in darty sheet, dilution with crystal industrial sheet, containers (upto 5 lit), cups, trays, egg boxes, general packaging, CD inserts and shoe heels. Complies with EC Directive 90/128/EEC as a food contact plastic.
