Durethan® B 40 F KA 000000 by LANXESS is a high viscosity, nucleated polyamide (PA 6) grade. Possesses good slip properties, high mechanical strength, good electrical insulation properties and. Provides high wear-, abrasion-, shock & fracture resistance and the attenuation of high stiffness. Exhibits good toughness, low friction, and dynamic load bearing properties and good processability noise and vibration. Shows high resistance to heat (170 to 200 °C over the short term; 80 to 160 °C long-term) and chemicals such as fuels, lubricants, solvents and cleaning agents. Is suitable for processing by extrusion. Applications include monocast films, cast coextrusion of PA-PE composite films, nonoriented & oriented monofilms, profiles and semifinished products. Recommended for filtration, agriculture and textile technology. Durethan® B 40 F KA 000000 complies with REACH (Regulation EC No. 1907/2006), FDA-Regulation 21 CFR 177.1500 and RoHS certificate.
