Durethan® BKV 15 G H2.0 900051 by LANXESS is a heat aging stabilized, weather stabilized polyamide (PA 6) copolymer reinforced with 15% glass fiber. Possesses high mechanical strength, good electrical insulation properties, good surface quality and high stiffness. Exhibits good toughness, low friction, dynamic load bearing properties and good processability. Provides high wear-, abrasion-, shock & fracture resistance and the attenuation of noise and vibration. Shows high resistance to heat (170 to 200 °C over the short term; 80 to 160 °C long-term) and chemicals such as fuels, lubricants, solvents and cleaning agents. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Recommended for automotive, electrical/electronics and buildings & constructions industries.
