Durethan® BKV 60 EF DUS097 000000 by LANXESS is a heat aging stabilized polyamide (PA 6) grade reinforced with 60 % glass fiber. Possesses good flowability, high mechanical strength & stiffness, good electrical insulation properties, low shrinkage & moisture absorption and high dimensional stability. Exhibits low friction, dynamic load bearing properties, low warpage and good processability. Provides high wear-, abrasion-, shock & fracture resistance and the attenuation of noise and vibration. Is highly resistant to heat (170 to 200 °C over the short term; 80 to 160 °C long-term) and chemicals such as fuels, lubricants, solvents and cleaning agents.
