Durethan® BKV30FN04 000000 by LANXESS is a heat-aging stabilized, halogen-free flame retardant polyamide 6 (PA6) reinforced with 30% glass fiber. It is used in battery module housing for electric vehicles (EVs). Exhibits excellent electrical properties, excellent strength & stiffness when in contact with electrolyte or cooling media and chemical resistance to suppress chemically-induced damage. Offers high-voltage insulation, resistance to upto 800 V and effectively blocks high-voltage current. Its durability to mechanical loads is superior to unfilled PA6. It is highly processable and enables the integration of complex functions required for housing components, resulting in a smaller number of parts and a simplified assembly process as well as lighter weight. Durethan® BKV30FN04 000000 is suitable for processing by injection molding. It satisfies stringent mechanical and chemical property requirements for the latest electronic vehicle (EVs) components.
