LATAMID 66 H2 G/25-V0CT1 by LATI is a heat stabilized, bromine-free, flame retardant polyamide 66 (PA66) based compound reinforced with 25% glass fibers. It is free from Polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) or Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE). It can be stabilized to improve resistance to coolants (e.g. glycol), oil or grease and can be made UV resistant. It has excellent colorability and can be easily painted. It is suitable for in-line painting at 150-160°C. It possesses improved CTI, stiffness, good mechanical-, thermal- and electrical- properties. It exhibits fatigue-, chemical- & wear-resistance with high moisture absorption. It shows improved aesthetic, flowability and shrinkage with mixing of different additives. It is processed by injection molding. Potential applications of LATAMID 66 H2 G/25-V0CT1 include automotive, precision mechanics, household appliances, electronics and bio-based applications. It complies with UL94 V-0 flame rating.
