LATAMID 68 H2-V0 is a heat stabilized, halogen- and red phosphorous- free flame retardant Polyamide 6 or Polyamide 66(PA6/PA66) copolymer with good surface appearance. Provides intermediate properties between LATAMID 66 and LATAMID 6. Has good colorabilty and can be easily painted without any particular issues. Possesses good mechanical, thermal and electrical properties. Exhibits good fatigue-, chemical- , wear-resistance and a high moisture adsorption that improves toughness but affects dimensional stability and mechanical properties. Shows excellent flowability and moldability. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Potential applications include automotive, precision mechanics, household appliances, electronics and biobased applications. Complies with UL 94 V-0 flame rating.
