HIPS 50IS is a general purpose, impact modified and high impact polystyrene (HIPS) grade by LG Chem. Exhibits excellent moldability, colorability and mechanical properties. HIPS 50IS is suitable for processing by injection molding. Used in food containers, refrigerator food holders, plastic toys and sheets or films of yogurt receptacle, due to adequacy with food hygiene regulations. Complies with UL 94 HB flame rating.
