Lucofin® 1492M HG

Lucofin® 1492M HG by Lucobit is a natural colored, water insoluble, odorless, chemically modified, eco-friendly, maleic anhydride (MA) grafted ethylene butyl acrylate (EBA) grade. Exhibits easy processability, good polarity and adhesion, good mechanical properties, good compatibility and filler acceptance. Imparts high filler loading such as ATH (Aluminum trihydrate) and MDH (Magnesium dihydrate) in HFFR compounds, flexibility, toughness & impact modification in brittle plastics such as PA, PA/ABS, PBT, PET and scrap/recycled material. Provides modified melt viscosity and improved processability for PA, compatibility in dissimilar polymer compounds such as PA/PE and PE/PS & improved bonding and strength in wood-plastic composite (WPC) such as PE, PP/ wood flour, polymer/fiber (glass fiber, natural fiber, long fiber, short fiber) compounds such as PP/long glass fiber. Is suitable for processing by film extrusion. Lucofin® 1492M HG by Lucobit is recommended as a tie layer between dissimilar materials in multilayer films and structures.
