Plexar PX1007 by Lyondell Basell is a translucent to white colored, anhydride modified, water insoluble ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), tie-layer grade available in the form of pellets. Exhibits good adhesion to polyethylene resins & copolymers, EVA, EMA, polypropylene, polyamide (nylon), ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymers (EVOH), ionomer and other sealants, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resins and copolymers, styrenic polymers, metal and paperboard. Exhibits chemical stability under normal conditions. Can be processed by blown and cast film extrusion, sheet & thermoforming, blow molding and extrusion coating. Recommended for lamination, tubing, pipe and other specialty applications. Plexar PX1007 by Lyondell Basell is also used to bond unlike materials primarily in packaging and industrial applications. Complies with US FDA 21CFR 175.105 for adhesives, REACH Regulation (EU) No.1907/2006, RoHS Directives 2002/95/EC, 2011/65/EU and GB/T 26572-2011.
