Purell PE 3040D by LyondellBasell is a low density polyethylene (LDPE) grade. Is an ethylene oxide sterilized grade exhibiting high rigidity and good chemical resistance. It is non-volatile and insoluble in water. Designed for processing by blown film extrusion, extrusion blow molding and injection molding. Suitable for packaging of pharmaceuticals using blow fill seal technology, bottles and vials, healthcare applications, medical films, closures and seals. Purell PE 3020 D meets the requirements of the Food and Drug Administration regulation, 21 CFR 177.1520. Complies with the relevant requirements of Regulation 10/2011/EC (PIM) and EU packaging and packaging waste directive 94/62/EC.
